Teen Snowboard Camps

Due to unforeseen personal reasons the kids session will not be running this summer.  Sorry for any inconvenience.  Our adults session and Ladies weekend will be running as per usual.

Why come to a summer snowboard camp?

We have campers of all ability levels between 13-18 years old come to Treeline summer camp every year.

If you're just linking turns, cruising blue runs,  or don't know where to start, we can introduce you to the terrain park.  You'll learn the basic skills you need to start safely hitting jumps, boxes, rails and more.  We have a specially built section of our terrain park devoted to building confidence and new skills in the safest environment possible.  The best thing about summer snowboard camp is that the park is soft and forgiving. We also cap our session numbers so we are the quietest summer terrain park in Whistler and you'll get our industry leading care and attention.

All this combined makes for the most amazing summer snowboarding experience you could wish for.  You'll be ripping park laps with new friends like you'd been at camp for months.

Already hitting the park up with your friends?

Are you a more advanced park rider?  Comfortably riding the park with your friends but want to work on a few areas?  Our very experienced and highly qualified coaches will construct a program just for you, to get you where you want to go.  Whether you want to clean up some tricks, need a little confidence riding bigger features or if you're stuck in that rut we all know too well, we can help you break the mental boundaries that sometimes appear.

Our expert coaches will help you learn the mechanics of tricks, how to break them down and the steps to take to achieving them.  So not only will you learn new tricks at camp you'll be able to take your new found knowledge and apply that in your future snowboarding.

Putting together your competition slopestyle run and can't afford the summer downtime?

The beauty of summer snowboarding is that you can do a hundred laps a day of the same features.  Long summer days, a quiet park and provincial coaches will help you get a huge amount of tricks in the bag.  Hours of laps on our large back to back jump line will get your jump combos dialed in and get motivated by our friendly pros as they hit the jumps with you.

Who are the youth camps for?

Are you or do you have a teenager between the ages of 13 -18 who just loves snowboarding?  Well we have 3 different camp styles on offer.  We have an all inclusive camp that includes everything from airport shuttles, accommodation, food, lift passes, expert coaching and activities.  All you have to do is arrive at Vancouver airport and we'll take care of the rest.

If you're coming out as a family and have your accommodation sorted then the all inclusive camp with NO accommodation is the camp for you.

Campers meet us/get dropped off for breakfast at around 8am and stay with us the whole day, enjoying the full camp experience until around 8:30pm when they get picked up from the camp accommodation (Tantalus Lodge).  They get all the camp activities, meals, coaching etc as the all inclusive campers, the only thing missing out of this package is the airport transfers and nightly hotel accommodation.

Are you coming to Whistler and want to spend more time as a family?  Do you live locally and want your son/daughter to keep progressing over the summer?

We offer a day coaching program that includes lift passes, private park access, coaching, and lunch.  Campers meet us at 8:30am for a full day on the glacier then get picked up from the base of Blackcomb at around 4pm.  This way you get to spend time as a family exploring what Whistler has to offer or local campers get to go home after a full day on the hill.

Supervision

Campers are signed in at breakfast, accounted for on the hill and after snowboarding when we get back to the hotel.

When our all inclusive campers between 13-18 years old are not at after riding activities they are free to explore the village with friends but we require them to visit our hotel room/office before they depart and when they get back.  We keep our session sizes small (around 40 campers per session) so no one goes unnoticed.

We have a strict policy of NO drugs including paraphernalia, alcohol or smoking.  Parents will be contacted and this will result in immediate dismissal.  All costs incurred as a result of dismissal will be on the family/camper.
